MealTrackr Terms

Last updated: 19 September 2026

Release candidate for 0.1.0 early access. Review alongside the privacy policy before publication.

These terms explain how you may use MealTrackr.

The App

MealTrackr is a local food tracking app. It helps you log meals, scan barcodes, save foods, set goals, and review daily nutrition totals.

MealTrackr is not medical advice. Nutrition data may be incomplete or wrong, especially data imported from Open Food Facts or entered manually. Check labels and use your judgment.

Accounts

MealTrackr does not require or provide accounts. Data is stored on your device.

Food And Barcode Data

Barcode scanning uses Open Food Facts when a product is not already saved locally. That data is unverified. You should review it before using it.

If you add or correct food data, you are responsible for making sure it is useful and not intentionally false or harmful.

Early access

Version 0.1.0 is a beta. Features and behavior may change, and bugs can affect stored data. Export a backup before updating; exported files are readable JSON and should be kept private. These terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights.

Availability

Local logging works without a MealTrackr server. Barcode lookup depends on network access and Open Food Facts availability.

Liability

MealTrackr is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for nutrition mistakes, missed goals, third-party services, or decisions you make based on the app.

Contact

MealTrackr is developed personally by Hamza el Osrouti, under the developer name Hamzie Dev, in the Netherlands. Contact: mealtrackr [@] hamzie.net. See the privacy policy for data handling and privacy requests.
